Hawzah News Agency- Shia cleric Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdul Reza Hashemi, head of the representative office of Iran’s Supreme Leader in Imam Sadiq Arms Corps in Bushehr province, while commemorating the 8th of Shahrivar, the martyrdom anniversary of martyrs Rajaee and Bahonar, which was named as the International Day of Combating Terrorism, said,” The 8th of Shahrivar Month is an opportunity for the message of terror victims to be heard.”

Referring to the double standards of the West in the face of terrorism, he added,” In the 80’s, Islamic Republic of Iran was faced with the assassination of people in the streets including the assassination of innocent children and the elderly, and beyond the mass of the people, the country's officials were also attacked by terrorists; in general, people have been victims of this sinister phenomenon at different times, ironically the West and Global Arrogance, define words such as terrorism, human rights and democracy in line with their own interests.”

Hujjat al-Islam Hashemi further stated that the destruction of terrorism is achieved with a global determination, and added,” terrorism is a great threat to global peace and security and has caused irreparable damage to the human society, damages that will never end for its victims. From the pain of parting with loved ones to the suffering caused by injuries by bullets and shrapnel, or the fear of seeing crime scenes, the consequences of which affect the society.”

He clarified,” Extinguishing the flame of terror can be achieved with a global determination, a determination that does not cause disruptions in political and double standards towards terrorism and is based on the protection of high human ideals, for this reason, the revolutionary nation of Iran must be fully aware of terrorism; we do not remain silent in the face of terrorist crimes and continue this bright path with strength and courage so that we can overcome the possible seditions and challenges ahead for the Islamic Revolution.”
